London Borough of Tower Hamlets: Facilitation Support & SMT Away Days

Since 2006 Equality Works has been providing a range of on-going facilitation support to a range of audiences with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This work has involved supporting the Senior Management Team (SMT) and the Equality Action Team (EAT) within the Communities, Localities and Culture (previously, Environment and Culture) directorate, the Corporate Equalities Steering Group (CESG) and the Disability Access Forum, to identify key priorities for embedding equality and inclusion into a range of work streams and activities.

London Borough of Tower Hamlets: Equalities Consultancy

Since 2006 Equality Works has been providing a range of on-going expert support to the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. This work has involved supporting the Equality Action Team within the Communities, Localities and Culture directorate to identify key priorities for embedding equality and inclusion into a range of their work streams, as well as reviewing their Corporate Programme and Project Management Competency Framework.

London Borough of Redbridge: Equalities Training for Social Workers

The London Borough of Redbridge’s Senior Diversity Officer undertook an initial analysis of training needs through reviewing the legislative and policy context; analysing findings of a range of reviews, studies and inspections; and consulting staff. This informed the commissioning of Equality Works to deliver a programme specific to the needs of the borough. We agreed to provide training to supplement the Borough's work on Equality and Diversity for senior managers and front line managers/team managers as phase one of a training programme.

London Borough of Hillingdon: Annual Workforce and Equalities Monitoring Report

Equality Works and the London Borough of Hillingdon have been working in partnership for the last six years to develop and produce the council’s Annual Workforce and Equalities Monitoring Report.

London Borough of Barking and Dagenham : Equality Impact Assessment

We were commissioned by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) to conduct training and workshops to introduce Equality Impact Assessments to staff and work towards embedding its EqIA processes throughout the Council.

Kent County Council: Recruitment and Selection Training

Equality Works has a long and successful track record of working with Kent County Council. We have worked closely with Unite over many years, extensively with Social Services, with Education, Arts and Libraries, with Strategic Planning (on their Management Development programme), with the Corporate and Directorate equalities groups and with Members.

In this particular project with Kent County Council we were commissioned to conduct a Recruitment and Selection Training for Managers involved in the recruitment and selection process.
