What Our Clients Say Testimonial Index
As Chief Operations Officer of London Probation we deal within a constantly challenging and political environment - crime is inherently political. Equality Works (EW) has, for a number of years, worked with staff of all levels to raise standards, manage conflicts and modernise the organisation. This involves working with the Senior Management Team, coaching individuals, training and developmental events as well as diagnostic reports of particular situations. The words that spring to mind to describe this fantastically wide rang
All of Essex Probation managers are being trained in recruitment and selection good practice, and we have a policy in place which states that only managers who have undergone the Equality Works recruitment and selection training can be an active member in recruitment drives.
The Equality Works team were excellent - they took time to get to know the organisation and tailored the workshop to our needs, keeping energy levels high and ensuring we stayed focused on tangible actions and outcomes
Since April 2005 Equality Works have trained over 1500 staff and 64 out of 84 members. Feedback has shown that the vast majority of applicants have found this some of the best corporate training they have attended.
In the current financial year we have also commissioned Equality Works to provide:
The London Borough of Redbridge has worked with Equality Works since 1998. I invited them to help me with a very sensitive issue that had arisen in one of the Council's service areas. The situation required a great deal of sensitivity; at the same time it was necessary to spell out clearly and firmly the requirements of equalities legislation and Council policy. I was very impressed with the input of Equality Works in helping to resolve the immediate issue and provide training and consultancy to ensure it was less likely to recur.
UNISON employs over 1,200 people and represents 1.3 million members. Our structures and culture can be quite complex, yet I am always confident that Equality Works will understand our needs and deliver effectively.
We commissioned this Equality Impact Assessment in order to ensure we had identified all the issues related to the proposals and to maximise opportunities for the equality of emergency care provision by Northumbria Healthcare. The service provided by Equality Works was of the highest quality and they responded to our deadlines without exception.
The Equality Works team has brought us many things. But at the core of it all is the opportunity to work with facilitators and consultants who believe in the work that you do, listen to your concerns and then deliver exactly what you need in just the right way. That is quite amazing!
Somehow Equality Works manages to get the balance just right between sound politics and good business sense. This is pretty impressive stuff and it’s made me an Equality Works fan!
Equality Works have been enormously helpful in helping devise the programme and in helping us deliver it. If you are considering whether you should engage their help then I would commend them to you.
Our experience of Equality Works has been one of the most effective, efficient and productive consultancy arrangements we have ever been involved in, in any area of work. Of particular value was their real desire to understand our business and functioning and produce tailored responses – something no less than ten internal colleagues took time to write to me about during our work together.
