As Chief Operations Officer of London Probation we deal within a constantly challenging and political environment - crime is inherently political. Equality Works (EW) has, for a number of years, worked with staff of all levels to raise standards, manage conflicts and modernise the organisation. This involves working with the Senior Management Team, coaching individuals, training and developmental events as well as diagnostic reports of particular situations. The words that spring to mind to describe this fantastically wide ranging series of interventions include; energetic, knowledgeable, focused, constructively challenging and constantly seeking improvement. The public sector needs to become more business focused and EW has been able to cut through much of the stodge with refreshing results. We have a rich history of working together which I am sure will continue in the future.
