Valuing and achieving diversity both within the organisation and in the services it provides is a key objective for the new National Probation Service. Over the past five years Equality Works has worked closely with the Probation Service in Hertfordshire to equip staff to meet the high standards of practice we have set for ourselves in relation to diversity. We now have a rolling programme of training in relation to diversity issues. All the events have been delivered to a consistently high standard and always receive excellent feedback from participants. More importantly we can see that the training is having an impact on performance in the workplace.
